Setting Limits
Personal Limits
One of the simplest ways to control your gambling is to set limits. These can be personal limits, or physical limits. For example, before gambling, consider:
- How long do I want to gamble for? (Do I have other commitments later?)
- How much money do I want to spend? (How much would be too much?)
Answer these questions for yourself, and stick to your limit.
Pre-Commitment Limits
All Australian online bookmakers are required to offer Pre-Commitment Limits. These are often called deposit limits, and are a tool you can take advantage of to make sure you don’t spend more than you commit to. Deposit limits can be set immediately; but removal of or increases to the limits are subject to a 7-day cooling off period.
Entain recommends all our customers consider a limit that is appropriate for them and apply it to their account.
Our Deposit Limits
We allow our customers to set deposit limits for 1, 7, 14, 30, or 365 day periods, for specific days of the week, or defined weekly periods. You can have multiple limits set up at one time and we will let you deposit up to your most restrictive limit.
We will automatically ask you to set a limit when you open your account, but you can also do it at any time online or by contacting our support team.
Setting a deposit limit with Ladbrokes and Neds is easy.
- Log in to your account
- Select “Punter Assist”
- Select “Deposit Limit” then choose your Weekly, Daily, or Periodic Limit
Once you set a limit, it will appear on this page. You can change or remove the limit by tapping “Configure” or the gear icon.
If you don’t want to be able to change your deposit limit yourself, contact our customer support team for more information.
